SE-ABRE PROGRAM (Specialist in Euro-Asia Business Relations) This is a course designed to meet the challenges of the 21st century in international trade negotiation. It reflects a perceived need to improve communication and mutual understanding at an international level between actual and potential European and Asian business partner.
The aim of the program is to train specialist to build economic and commercial bridge providing the Spanish companies with qualified professionals whose mother tongue is any of the Asian language and also cover high level in both business English and Spanish and knowledge of International Business. These interlocutors will be on the frontline of the negotiation representing Spanish business interests and creating business partnership in Asia, in mutual interest and economic benefit.
The program has incorporated students from other Asian countries such as Vietnam, India and Philippine completing the initial countries such as China, South Korea, Taiwan and Japan.
 This program takes advantage of the synergy of other institutions such as the Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona, Consortium of Catalan Commerce Promotion (COPCA), Escuela Superior de Comercio Internacional (ESCI), Casa Asia and others that they together collaborate in supporting the Spanish companies to enter into the Asian markets.
Characteristics • Specialization in International Commerce and Negotiation awarded by the Pompeu Fabra University through the Escuela Superior de Comercio Internacional (ESCI) • Intensive Language Coursed: a) Diploma Superior/Intermedio Español de los Negocios (DSEN), awarded by the Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona and the IESE Business School of the University of Navarra. b) Business English Certificate (BEC Higher/ Vantage), awarded by Cambridge University Examination Board. • 6 months internship in the Spanish companies or institution.
